An Equitable Urban Transit System

Powered by Autonomous Vehicles

Developed by the City of Trenton, NJDOT, Office of Governor Phil Murphy, and Princeton University with technical support from CARTS, Trenton MOVES (Mobility & Opportunity: Vehicles Equity System) will provide safe, equitable, affordable, and sustainable high-quality mobility through 100 Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) throughout the state capital. This city-wide, on-demand automated transit system will serve 90,000 residents of Trenton.

Our Community Engagement Events

Through a series of ongoing community engagement events, we are able to understand the pain point of the local community and tailor our design to work better with their needs. While pushing this project forward, we will also host co-creation workshops to substantially make our system beneficial to the local residents.
